Caution, do not try to play Rocket Ball on platforms at home which is very dangerous. If you wish to play, use paint, rope or chalk to outline circles on the ground.
Team Structure
1. 2 Teams.
2. 10 players of each team on the field.
3. Maximum of 40 team members.
4. Team water boy/girl may also play creating 41st position.
Length of game
1. Each game shall consist of four 15 minute quarters with a 20 minute half-time after the first two quarters.
2. Only 1 additional quarter as overtime will be provided in the case of a tie during normal season play.
3. Up to two additional quarters will be provided during playoffs if needed.
4. If both overtime quarters are used and there is still a tie each team is given five shots against the goal keeper and whichever team scores the most points wins.
5. Each team is given 5 time-outs per quarter and they do not accumulate.
Field Setup
1. Size of field 50 meters wide X 100 meters long.
2. 25 2/3 meter platforms 10 meters from the ground on each side of the field that may be placed wherever the team defending that side of the field chooses.
3. Platforms must me spaced at least 1/2 meter apart.
Movement of ball
1. Players may touch the ball with any part of their bodies they want.
2. Goals are scored by kicking or throwing the ball into the scoring pit of the opposing team.
3. When a goal is scored, the ball is ejected through the ball pipe in the center of the field to resume play.
Scoreing
1. Each successful goal made from the opposing teams side of the field earns 1 point.
2. Each successful goal made from the player's side of the field earns 2 points.
Penalties
1. Player may not hold onto a ball for longer that five seconds.
2. When a player or ball touches the ground, the player's team or the team that last touched the ball loses a point.
3. Any player who causes a member of the opposing team to fall to the ground will be removed from the game for 5 minutes and have 5 points removed from his or her team's score.
4. A team may challenge a referee's call and if the referee continues to call against the team, they are charged a time-out.
